Dear Diary,
Today, Stacy, you might have to do a lot of running around in the car - when you probably want to stay home. Obligations to friends and family are likely to come up, and even though you're a bit tired you'll want to help them out. The best plan for handling today is to get everything done as quickly as possible - and then spend the rest of the day relaxing alone. This way you can have it both ways!
After the type of weekend I had and how...I guess you could call it depressing I was, it was a nice suprise tonight to hear from my dad. He phoned my shortly after 6:00pm tonight and you you think that after talking to him yesterday and how upset I was that he wasn't coming to visit me, that I wouldn't want to talk to him. My dad and I have this special bond though and can make me feel better almost all the time. I told him how upset he had made me feel yesterday and it felt wonderful to get all thoughs feelings out and in the open. He said that he would make it up to me though on Thursday as he was going to come down for my birthday and take me out for coffee. I also told him that I need to talk to him in private (meening, away from my mom) about alot of stuff. He said that this was fine and asked what it was that I had to talk to talk to him about. So I put it out simply to him: a potential loan for next year, university for next year, and my graduation ring that I would like him to buy me. I didn't mention anything about the credit card. I'll do that on Thursday though. It'll be nice to see him on Thursday and especially since it's on my birthday.
I slept horrible last night. I had so much floating though my head about what had taken place on the weekend and then what was due for today's classes and making sure that I left this morning without forgeting anything. I think by the time I actually did get to sleep I ended up having disturbing dreams as well. All in all, it just wasn't a great night. The morning was a rough one again as well. I woke up and didn't want to get up. I had a hard time finding some things to take with me for classes today and I nearly missed my first bus that get's me downtown so I can get my other bus. I made sure to take an energy drink with me this morning to wake me up for first class.
Greg's back in Barrie this week. He left this morning and is (as far as I know) suppost to be there until Thursday afternoon. He is planning that he'll be back in time to be able to spend some birthday time with me. He said he would like to take me out to dinner so that would be nice. Greg's mom said then that if we were going out Thursday night together that we would celebrate with everyone else on Friday. It'll be a lovely end to the week. No school or daycare on Thursday or Friday again so I have another four day weekend this week.
My finger today doesn't seem to be getting any better and to be honest, right now it looks as if it's getting worse. You can tell now just how deep I cut it the other night when I was cutting up a green pepper for Greg and I to eat for dinner Friday night. It hasn't bled anymore but it just doesn't look very healthy. Greg's mom said that I should look into the last time I got a tetnis shot just to be on the safe side. I'll have to look into that tonight.
I just got a surprise from a girl in the first year program and peer services has set me up with a person to tutor. We set up a meeting are are scheduled to meet this Wednesday at 9:20am. I'll have to get all the information from the supervisor at peer services though as to what my part in this will be before we begin our meetings.
Anyways, Greg just came online and informed me that hockey is on so I'm gonna go and watch some before I need to head to bed later. It's been an hour of writing this because of all the distractions I've had. lol. Have a great night everyone and write soon. Take care.
