Concerns For Tomorrow
July 22, 2005 - 8:26 a.m.
Dear Diary, Life looks pretty good, STACY! Career matters are skyrocketing, and your financial future looks very promising. Keep up the good work! Health wise, you're feeling especially strong and vigorous. Nonetheless, your primary interest is likely to be romance, as you should be feeling especially passionate. Schedule an intimate evening with your significant other, and make the most of it! It's early. Early, I suppose for a day that I am not going to work for. Greg and I stayed the night last night at his place and we were awoken by the rain this morning hitting the screen and in through the window. The next thing I know the phone rings and it's Greg's mom wanting to get a ride to work. Greg takes the phone out to his dad and minutes later comes back into the room and asks me if I would like a ride home now or if I'm going to stick around a while later and walk home before Doug arrives. I nod to the first question and say "I guess" as Greg starts to throw me my clothes off of the chair. And within another two minutes we are working our way out to the door and to the car from the appartment, Greg with laundry in hand. I'm now sitting here proped up by two pillows on the bed watching Saved By The Bell The College Years and typing this. I think the rain has now stopped but the weather is predicting that we are to get more this afternoon along with a thunderstorm. Gary is still sound asleep and Bandit won't go outsite to go pee as I have already ask him twice. The house is quite. It's been a really good week off aside from the fact that I didn't get to go out and see Alicia in Utah or to Nova Scotia to see my family. I've been in Kitchener all week long. Mainly just working through a school book for the fall and my drivers training book so I can take my written test as soon as I know the material. I also left the appartment from Greg's the other morning when Doug arrived, came back to his moms house to find the sunscreen, running shoes, socks, sun glasses and water bottle and then grabbed the dog and put him on his leash and went for a run/walk with him for a half an hour. Later that same day I also baked chocolate chip cookies for everyone. To sum it up, thats been my week. Tomorrow is the big day though that we have been waiting for for two or three weeks and to tell you the truth I am very aprehensive about everything. By approximately 4:30pm tomorrow evening, our Japanesse exchange student, Michiru is schedualed to arrive at the high school where we are to pick her up and welcome her into our family for the next three weeks. I think at this point I am having very mixed feelings about this situation. I've never had anyone stay with us in our home for any long length of time like this before so it will come as a completely new experience. I just hope that all will go well. Alicia is due to have the baby in exactly seven days. Whether or not she has it on the 29th, the due date as far as I know, still remains the same. This week has been nerve racking though as I have been calling Alicia left right and center and I still have not been able to get in touch with her which is making me think that she "may" have already had the baby. I hope not as I would like to talk to her one last time at least before the baby comes. Plus Virginia is due to have her baby soon as well. As far as I remember, her baby is due on August 5th. Maybe Alicia is gone to visit her or something. I know though if I just sit here and wonder every aspect of this then I'm going to drive myself crazy but also I would love to be reasured that things are ok around there and nothing serious has happend. Well, this is all for today as I need to get some reading done and clean up some. Hopefully everyone is doing well and taking care. Wish me luck tomorrow as everything falls into place. *love always stacy*
