After 80 Days I'm Back

October 21, 2004 - 10:13 a.m.

Dear Diary,
The celestial energies have you nostalgic for friends and family members living far away, STACY. Don't hesitate to ease your loneliness by calling or writing letters to the people you miss most. It is likely that you have been on their minds as well, and they will be delighted to hear from you. Hearing the voice of someone you love is the best gift you can give yourself today.
I have exactly 44 minutes according to the school clock now before I need to leave for my doctors appointment with the College Doctor so I thought that this be my best time to get in a few words before my diary gets shut down since its been 80 days now since I last wrote here. Its been a mightly long 80 days if I might add to that. To give you a qucik update of just what has taken place in thoughs 80 days, well, I have finally moved out of my parents house and in with Greg's mom Roberta and his two younger brother's Mike and Gary, I started College at Conestoga on September 7th, and now I'm still just trying to adjust to a new city, being away from home and everything else that comes along with that. It's been crazy but I don't think I'd change anything if I had to...well, let me re-think that. I would change the fact that Gary pee's on the toliet all the time and that he eat's all the good food in the house before I really get any of it and the fact that everyone leaves the lights on non-stop even when they aren't home...but other then that, it's not so bad. The best part is that I am able to see Greg every day and we've even taken to going for a walk nearly every night after he gets home from work just so it can be our time together to catch up with one another's day and what has all taken place in that day. It's nice. Really really nice. I'm enjoying every little bit of things. I'm even refering to Roberta's home as "home" to me which in a lot of ways is reasuring. It will be nice to look back on this experience in the years to come once I'm done school and say that I lived with my boyfriends mom for 2 years. My room is coming along quite nicely as well. Hopefully I will have my VCR player in there and that will just end up making it all the better!
My 19th birthday is in exactly 6 days and I'm so excited! A few of the girls that I have made friends with in school have asked me to go out drinking on the 28th (the day after my birthday) since we don't have school on the thursday or friday. That would be cool. I wouldn't mind seeing more of the city and getting more familiar with things. We'll see it anything really does come from it though. As far as celebrating my birthday with my family, well, I'm heading home in two weeks to do the whole family get-together with everything. I'm hoping Greg won't have to work and will be able to attend. I also hope everything goes as I wante it to and won't get ruined by my mom. Speaking of which, things have been crazy between the two of us lately. We're not get along the best but I'm trying. I called hometuesday night and she was just staring to work on my room. She has everything cleared out of the closet (I packed everything that was staying at home into boxes and placed everything into my closet) and placed everything into the spare room for the time being so she could start to sand down the walls and ceilings and begin with the rest of her plans with it. Apparently Kirk came over last time to build me a wall somewhere in the room so he phone to ask me for measurements of my entertainment center. I'm going to be interested in seeing how things turn out in the end. It will be a big change to me. I'm looking forward to the colour of paint though that I've picked out for it. Drum roll please...Celestial Yellow!!! Thats what the new colour will look like. It's very pretty. :) I really can't wait to see what it looks like. Hopefully it will be done soon but I'm not counting on it with all of the other renovations that my parents have taken to doing in the rest of the house. Other then that though, Shauna has gone back to Calgary. I just got her mailing address the other day so that we can write back and forth. Tarry is his same old self and doing things he more then likely shouldn't be doing but I'm just trying to stand by and "support" him the best that I can. There's been no word from Alicia and frankly I'm begining to want to give up on the thought of talking with her anytime soon. It's so hard. I've tried calling everyone I can think of to get in touch with her...her mom, her work which she no longer works at, her dad's house, her older sisters house, Mallory, Mackenzie and even her old cell phone number. All with no luck getting in touch with her. AHHH! It's nuts. I've tried; I'm still trying. I just want to get to the end of this and find out whats going on.
That's where I'm ending off for now. I'll try to write more freguently then 80 days apart to give more detailed and interesting diary updates of what's going on. Talk to you all later.
