The Month Of August Is Sure To Bring Happiness
August 01, 2004 - 2:51 p.m. Dear Diary, Your health might take a strange turn today, STACY - not for the worse, but for the better. A chronic condition you've learned to live with might suddenly disappear. This is your own inner healing ability finally coming to terms - so don't question it! Just go with the flow. It might, however, be a good idea to back this up with nutritional support and/or proper exercise to ensure that it doesn't recur. It's finally the first of August and things couldn't be looking any better now for me then what they are at this point. I have exactly 26 days left at home until I move in fully with Greg's mom Roberta and that then intails that I only have 19 days of work left! How amazing is that now? I really couldn't be any happier then what I am at this point. Last weekend I started to bring a couple of boxes of clothes down and unpack all of that as well as getting the room prepared now rather then later on at the end of August when all of the bigger stuff such as furniture arrives and I'm scrambling to get everything in place at the last moment. So at this point, it's just my clothes that are there. Sweaters are placed away in drawers underneath the bed that's there and the rest is hung up on hangers in the closet. Next weekend, we'll be bring more down with us when Greg comes to pick me up. It'll mostly consist of books and desk stuff that I've got packed but it's better then not bringing anything at all. As well, it won't be long now until I'll be getting my laptop. Greg and I sat down yesterday and took a look at the Future Shop, Staples, Best Buy and Dell websites to see what all they had to offer and what deals were current and so far it looks as if we are going with one from Dell. http://configure.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=ca&CS=CADHS1&l=en&oc=OCINSP5150_RECO_SUPRDHS There's the link so have a look! It's a great computer and will come with everything that would be bennificial for me. I even get a free printer and Microsoft Office with it! Yay! I've finally found something. I was talking to Kirk last night as well and as far as he thinks things are looking, mom and dad might be paying for a portion or even the entire amount for the laptop that I want. He said to keep my mouth shut though (like I'd say anything anyways) and not to get my hopes up. I'm just assuming that I'll be paying for it all along like I thought that I was going to be and then see what happends in the end of things. I'm not getting my hopes up yet and even if they were to mention something to me, I still wouldn't be getting my hopes up. It's when I see something getting paid for from them that I will then be excited and so on. Even still though, after buying a laptop for school, and figuring the cost of books which is approximately $1200, I'll still have close to $800 or $900 left for my own use. Everything is just happening so fast. I got mail from the college twice this week. First was letting me know about orientation which is being held on August 30th and that it is a requirement that I attend and then the second package I recieved from them was a book of registration and orientation guide information that I've still got to take a look at and read through on everthing inside. So everything is final and I've got lots to look forward to this month. I can see things going great. Honestly. What wouldn't be good about moving out of home for two years and then moving in to live with your boyfriends mom? Now tell me that! Basically though, this has been about it! I've got to get lots done though before August comes to an end so I'll be quite busy! I'll have to try hard to try and write more often in here but don't count on it too too much. Take care everything and hope to hear from you all soon. *love alays stacy*
