Six Months and Counting
September 29, 2003 - 10:55 a.m. Dear Diary, Dear STACY, Expect to hear some great news today, STACY. It will arrive via letter or phone, so be sure to pick up when you hear the ring. It may be that some distant relatives call to say they are coming for a visit, or maybe you find out about a trip that you and your family will be taking in the near future. Your spirit soars with the news, and you imbue others with your excitement and positive spirit. Six months it is today now that Greg and I have been together. :) A whole six months! Its almost weird to say that because it just doesn't seem like that long. Time fly's so fast that you don't even realize it. And it sucks too that we can't even be together today. Greg's at school all day and I'm here working on my own online course and stuff around the house and so on. Its alright though, we'll talk tonight. Its raining out right now but I don't think it will last very long and its a very nice soothing rain. Almost as if its not there and you don't even know until you look outside because its dropping so calmly. Dad's left already to go into work. He had to work four hours overtime today so it will be peacefull around here all day. Mom was suppost to have her course tonight start at 7:00pm and go until 9:00pm tonight but the lady called this morning to say that it had been cancled due to a death in the family so she would have to call to re-schedual everything. Apparently her classesd are to run every monday night but its just when you need to go in for help. Hopefully she'll be going in more then what I think she will be. I havn't really asked her how often she plans to go in or what she signed up for but we'll see with time I guess. This weekend was pretty slow going. Friday early afternoon I got a call from Greg asking if I wanted to get to get together with him for the day since he only had school for a couple hours in the morning and he was now at home so I said sure and ended up having to go and get ready in time for him to pick me up. So I went back to his place for the day and got home that night around 12:30 or so. Mom and dad were still awake when I came in so I stayed up and watched a few shows with them and then wet to bed. Saturday, I thought that mom was suppost to be working but it turns out that it was canceled so we as a family ended up going out to a place called Milverton to take a look at a furniture shop there and then from there we went into Kitchener to this Sears Clearance place just to see what they had and then came back home and out to our own mall where we ended up buying a new couch and chair and then went to get my brother birthday present being a new fishing pole. Just what he wanted. I had to baysitt at 9:30pm Saturday night and didn't get home until 1:30. No one was home so I just sat up watching tv until everyone got home and then went to bed at 2:30. Yesterday, Sunday, was spent with everyone here so that we could celebrate Kirks birthday and that was it. Dad and I had some running around to do in the early morning because he wanted to get a case of beer and then we had to pick up the cake for Kirk and came home. Kirk and Carolann ended up showing up around 4:00pm and so not too long later it was time for dinner, which was followed by cake and presents. Carolann had to go back into work for 7:00 so she left here at 6:30 and then Kirk and I drove out to see her for 8:00 and stayed around there until 8:45. Kirk dropped me back off at home and then left and that was pretty much the end to my day. So the weekends been pretty boring. Not a whole lot going on. As for today I need to work on my online course and get some cleaning done in my room still. It never ends. Other the that, it will be another pointless rainy day. Hope everyone has a great day! *love always stacy*
